Mercedes CLK (W209) Comand 2.0 High-Line Satellite Navigation Repairs

Mercedes Comand 2.0 RepairsThe Mercedes CLK (W209) chassis does come with the optional Comand 2.0 High-Line Sat Nav unit. This unit has also been found fitted to the W208 and W210 chassis but possibly retro-fit as we’ve not confirmed whether Mecedes did fit these at factory to such models.

The Comand 2.0 Sat-Nav has been known to fail commonly with CD Read Errors but from time to time we also receive them with all other types of faults. Below we’ve put together a small list of faults we’ve seen this type of satellite navigation unit sent in with.

  • having problems with mercedes ntg2 command centre started with no volume on unit radio then no volume on incoming calls and no volume on satnav then got message on screen to insert satnav disc then all buttons would not work as if frozen

  • Hi my Mercedes CLK (W209) Comand
    takes a long time to boot up. It is worse when the car has not been used for a few days.
    once it is on it works fine.
