The BMW Flat Back type LUK power steering pump is one we keep in stock ready on the shelf for dispatch. We sell 100’s of these and are able to sell them NEW and Remanufactured at a very affordable price.
When the LUK Flat back pump fails, you may experience one or more of the following effects:
If you find your power steering feels heavy one way or heavier one way then the other then this problem may not be the pump. The pumps job is simply to pump fluid around the power steering system at high pressure (it is not dependant on which way you turn the wheel) so this should not be a factor at all. The rack however can effect how heavy the steering is one way so if your steering feels heavy one way, then chances are the problem is within your rack.
They do of course have other issues from general wear and tear over the years such as leaking from the back plate and behind the pulley boss. Due to the high demand on these pumps we keep remanufactured ones in stock and also brand new genuine units which surprisingly will not cost you a lot from us and you’ll still get a full 1 years international warranty with your purchase.
This means your warranty will cover you whichever country you are in and at no extra cost!
Please note: We do require your old core pump to be returned to us as this is an exchange price. A surcharge of £50 will be applied to your bill which is fully refundable when we receive your old core pump.
How will you be delivering my item? If you place your before 1pm we will dispatch same day but otherwise all orders are dispatched next working day via the following options:

The delivery times are estimated by the service providers and exclude any weekends and bank/national holidays. Is my item coming from abroad? All items from the Sinspeed store are dispatched from within the United Kingdom. My item has not yet arrived?We send all items via courier, it may be that the courier came to deliver your item and you were not in in which case they will leave an "Attempted Delivery" card through your letterbox. In the case that your item has not been delivered within 3 working days of making your purchase, contact us with your transaction ID and full name, we will then trace your item for you and release details of a consignment number and contact details of the courier so that you can arrange a time for delivery/collection. Can you ship to an alternative address? The option to ship your item to an alternative address is given to you during the checkout procedure.
