A Sinspeed HID Conversion Kit
A HID Conversion Kit (also known as a XENON HID CONVERSION KIT) is designed to convert conventional Halogen Headlights to the newer gas-filled HID (High Intensity Discharge) Xenon headlights. The HID bulbs are operated by independent HID Ballast units, also known as Blasters. The HID Ballasts draw a current either from the battery or the original headlight Wiring Loom and then regulates the electricity through the HID (High Intensity Discharge) Bulbs.

A HID Conversion Kit for cars will come with two ballast units, 2 HID Xenon Bulbs and all the wiring necessary for universal fitment, however, the bulbs will be made to match the specific sizes of normal Halogen Bulbs, such as: H1, H3, H4, H7, H9 and H11 etc.. so when considering to purchase a kit you must make sure you purchase the correct kit by confirming the bulb sizes with your original Halogen headlight bulbs. Some kits will even come with the tie clips, brackets & screws to secure your ballasts and neaten up the wiring.

Dependant on the application the kit will be required for, there are different types of kits. The very first Electronic Kits were manufactured with Electronic HID Ballasts made specifically for the older vehicles without Canbus Wiring systems. The Electronic Kits came in standard sized ballasts which were generally quite bulky and heavy but okay for the types of vehicle they were being fitted on as most at the time had plenty of space available. Later, the same Electronic Kits were released with newer Slim Ballasts units which did exactly the same thing but the technology was redesigned to be more compact to accommodate newer vehicles that were being manufactured without Canbus Wiring systems.

If you fit an Electronic HID Kit to a newer vehicle which has been released with the Canbus Wiring system for it's headlights, you could experience a number of Canbus Errors such as: Strobing, Flickering, Ballast Shutdown and/or bulb warning errors on your dashboard. These can, however, be eliminated by using a Anti-Canbus Decoder Kit. After the Electronic Kits came the newer, Digital HID (High Intensity Discharge) Kits which consists of everything the older kits have, but now with Digital Ballasts. These Digital Ballasts are designed to be more suited than the Electronic Ballasts to all vehicles without Canbus Wiring systems because they're able to better regulate the power going in & out of the unit. In order to find some time for myself I decided to search for service that could supply me with the prime quality custom essays at prices that would be reasonable enough. The final choice was QualityEssay.Com as they did have an excellent reputation. Although they are a little more expensive, the benefits are clear.

For newer vehicles with the Canbus Wiring systems in place, manufacturers such as Sinspeed have developed and designed Canbus Pro HID Conversion Kits to be compatible with both the older non-canbus vehicles and newer canbus vehicles. They are fit for multi-purpose but targeted to be more compatible with the latest wiring systems to eliminate possibilities of Canbus Errors. All Canbus Pro HID Conversion Kits are designed with Digital Ballasts and were first released with Slim Ballast technology, however, slim Canbus kits are good for preventing Canbus Errors and of course great for vehicles requiring a more compact design, but they do have their flaws as well, which then brings us to the latest Canbus Pro HID Conversion Kits which were made with larger Digital Ballasts (not as large as the Electronic Ballasts) but quite close. The extra space in the ballasts allowed for better technology and produces better results.

You'll find that on some certain cars you will also require bulb holders (also known as bulb holder adaptors) in order to fit the HID conversion kit. This is because on some cars, the original bulb holders do not have a whole in the centre to allow wires to pass through. This means that the consumer is then required to either drill holes into their existing bulb holders (which can most likely void any warranty that they might have) or purchase the HID Bulb Adaptors which allow the bulbs to be fitted with a hole in the middle of the adaptors for wiring to pass through. Generally speaking, a HID Conversion Kit will not come with Anti-Canbus Error Decoders to solve the issues with canbus errors and will not come with HID Bulb Holder Adaptors either, which are used to replace original bulb holder adaptors that don't allow wiring to pass through. Remember, a HID Conversion Kit is usually considered universal to all makes/models of vehicles except for they come in different bulb sizes so you always need to make sure you get the correct bulb size. If your vehicle requires the additional adaptors or decoders, then there is normally an additional charge for this unless specifically mentioned that they are included in the kit.
