Audi Q7 Speedo and Instrument Cluster Repair
A Q7 whose speedometer, fuel gauge and mileage display have gone blank while the ABS, airbag and traction lamps still come on is pointing strongly towards the instrument cluster. On the 2006–2015 Audi Q7, the cluster runs the dials, driver information display and warning lamps, and talks constantly to the car’s other control units. We repair your own cluster, so the original mileage and security data stay with it and, in normal circumstances, it goes back in without dealer recoding.
Common Q7 Cluster Faults
- Dials and mileage readout dead while some warning lamps still light
- Other modules logging lost communication with the cluster
- Dial illumination going black, particularly in lower light
- Speedo or rev counter needle freezing or falling to zero
- Driver information display dimming or missing pixels
Not Sure the Cluster Is at Fault?
A Q7 carries a lot of networked electronics, and a wiring or network fault can look like a cluster problem. Our Q7 speedo and cluster problems guide explains the difference; if your symptoms match, use the repair form and we will confirm before you post the unit.
