BMW ABS Pump Repairs

Your BMW may be fitted with either a Bosch, ATE or a TRW ABS unit. The model of the ABS depends on the year of manufacture but they are all common failing parts – we see BMW ABS units coming in daily for test & repair. We carry some of the most common failing modern ABS units in stock. Some of the most common failing units suffer with the Brake Pressure Sender / Transducer fault and we generally have replacement units available with a Lifetime warranty.

Where a replacement is not available we can still offer to remanufacture your existing unit and return it to you with a Lifetime warranty and guarantee no programming will be required when refitting it. All new genuine OEM parts are used when remanufacturing ABS units to ensure each and every rebuilt ABS pump meets & exceeds OE specifications.

Fitting services are available if required. For more information, check out our BMW ABS repair articles below or call us on 0203 815 9441.

BMW Complete DPF Removal Session

Sinspeed offer BMW DPF Removal Sessions nationwide for all BMW owners with blocked DPF Filters. The design of the BMW DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) system is quite poor – some are installed in the centre box too far down to reach optimum temperatures and so we find they block up quicker than others which are installed directly after the turbocharger. For more information & and instant quote, check out our article and contact us today.

BMW 5 Series DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Removal Services

There are many factors which will cause the failure of the DPF on the BMW 5 series but a major flaw in its design is that its mounted midway down the exhaust system. The DPF requires extremely high temperatures to burn off soot particles (temperatures can reach in excess of 700 C) and therefore the further down the exhaust the filter is mounted, the lower the temperature of the exhaust gases are before they reach the filter. This means that a regeneration (reburn) of the filter will be harder to achieve & maintain.
