Description
Suzuki Swift Instrument Cluster Repair (2005–2011)
When a Suzuki Swift’s speedometer stops while the engine carries on normally, the instrument cluster is one of several possible causes, alongside the speed sensor and the wiring. On the 2005–2011 Swift, the cluster carries the speedometer, rev counter, fuel and temperature gauges, the mileage display and the warning lamps. If it proves to be the cluster, we repair your own unit, so the original mileage and security data stay with it and it normally refits without dealer recoding.
Swift Speedo and Dash Problems
- Speedometer stopped or reading intermittently
- Rev counter, fuel or temperature needle stuck
- Mileage display dim or blank
- Dash lighting failing after dark
- Warning lamps flickering
- Cluster cutting out, then recovering
Sensor, Wiring or the Cluster Itself?
A faulty speed sensor, a damaged connection or an engine control fault can each stop a Swift’s speedometer, and none of them is fixed by repairing the cluster. Have those checked first; if the speedo still refuses to work, or other gauges are failing too, describe the fault on our repair form and we will tell you whether the cluster is worth sending.
