Description
Alfa Romeo MiTo Instrument Cluster Repair (2008–2014)
MiTo owners often first notice the problem when the instrument cluster simply goes blank, taking the speedometer, gauges and trip display with it. The cluster on the MiTo is networked with the car’s other control units, so as well as showing speed, revs and fuel it relays warnings and messages from around the vehicle. We repair your original cluster and return it to you, keeping its mileage and security information where it belongs.
Typical MiTo Cluster Symptoms
- Dash dead on start-up, sometimes returning after the ignition is cycled
- Cluster not communicating properly with other modules, with fault codes stored
- Needles stuck or dropping back to zero
- Characters or pixels missing from the central display
- Illumination fading or failing at night
Cluster Fault or Wiring Fault?
On a MiTo, a supply fuse or wiring fault can make the dash go dark and bring up several warnings at once, which looks exactly like a failed cluster. Have your garage rule those out; if the cluster is still suspect, tell us what you are seeing on the repair form and we will advise.
Why Send It to Sinspeed?
