VW Transporter DSG Control Unit Repair
“Gearbox in emergency mode” on the dash can take a working Transporter off the road until the cause is found, and the transmission control unit is one of the first things to check. That unit is the electronic brain of the DSG, housed with the mechatronic inside the gearbox, choosing gears and controlling both clutches.
