    Hi there,

I have a ’98 Alfa 156 2.0 T Spark, where for the past year or so, I have been getting an ABS and handbrake light appearing, initially the speedo has still functioned despite this, But more recently after the first 15 or 20 mins driving from cold I lose the speedo, I have been to mechanics to try and get a diagnosis on it and none of their Equipment can read the Pre 2001 System. Since the speedo works for a short time and reads correctly if compared to a GPS Speedo app, I have ruled out sensors at the wheels. Does this sound to you like the ABS module at fault And how easy would it be to remove it in situ and send it over to you for repair from Cyprus. I assume when you refer to the module it would be the black plastic parts screwed to the side of the hydraulic part of the pump? Thanks and Regards Louis

Hi, The speedo in my Alfa 156 2.0 TS is not working, and the ABS warning light on the dash is constantly on. The local Alfa guy says that the ABS control unit is faulty. If I remove the ABS control unit to be sent to you for repair, can I run the car in the meantime without the control unit? I am in Colombo, Sri Lanka. How much would the repair cost? And can you ship it back to me?
