A modern semi-automatic Peugeot / Citroen will come with SensoDrive technology. Sensodrive is basically an electronically controlled manual gearbox. It will come fitted with an electronic clutch actuator, gearbox actuator and a gearbox ECU.

A new clutch actuator alone will cost you £480 +Labour and may require coding / calibration. A new gearbox actuator alone will cost you £780 +Labour and may require coding / calibration. New replacement parts from dealers will come with a 12-month warranty. Second hand used parts will be a lot cheaper but come with limited warranty (typically 30-90 days) and may require reprogramming.

I have a 52 plate C2 Furio that is ok for along time then decides not to select gears. It gives three bleeps and then shuts down all the electronics on the engine. been told by citreon garage that it is either the clutch actuator or gear selector. Can you please let me know what I would be looking at to referb the units mentioned above.

54 plate c2 1.6vtr, snowflake sign few months ago and car would stop. Would restart itself sometimes, or sometimes had to disconnect battery. Car has now been parked up few months, and now won’t start. Where the gear number would be I just get a dash (-).

I have a 2006 c2 furio sensodrive it drives like a dream then gives 3 bleeps auto 1 with snow flake flashes & can’t drive it. It won’t change gear or change to manual at all when this happens. After a while of trying to starts back up as normal then after a while it does the same again. Can you help at all please?

I have a 61 plate 508sw that works fine when it’s cold. i get judder when pulling away when hot. do you think my ecu needs re-programming or is this an actuator fault? No fault lights or codes. recent new battery.

I Have A Citroën C3 1.4 Stop Start automatic And It Is Showing Fault Po750 On diagnostics. Its Not Selecting Gear Will sometimes Got The Snowflake Symbol Showing At Times And When In Gear It Sometimes Wont Move Off. Was Told To Try A New Battery First Which I Have And Although The Car Isnt As Bad Its Still Not Selecting Gears Everytime. How Much Would It Be To Repair The Actuator. We Replaced The Actuator 6 Years Ago And Have Only Done About 10 thousand Miles.
