A modern semi-automatic Peugeot / Citroen will come with SensoDrive technology. Sensodrive is basically an electronically controlled manual gearbox. It will come fitted with an electronic clutch actuator, gearbox actuator and a gearbox ECU.
The Peugeot / Citroen range vehicles with SensoDrive technology often suffer transmission faults and most commonly the problems are within the electronic clutch actuator and / or gearbox actuator. Below we’ve listed some of the common failing symptoms we’ve seen these units suffer with.

A new clutch actuator alone will cost you £480 +Labour and may require coding / calibration. A new gearbox actuator alone will cost you £780 +Labour and may require coding / calibration. New replacement parts from dealers will come with a 12-month warranty. Second hand used parts will be a lot cheaper but come with limited warranty (typically 30-90 days) and may require reprogramming.

I bought a Citroen C2 1.4 HDI automatic, and gives me the error board Rebate gear box, so go 10-20 km then give this error.
Car into gear but no longer engages when the error occurs.
Unfortunately ie they are at a considerable distance from Romania and we are able to fix it to you.
In Romania is not well trained in this issue and I would ask if you can give me an idea or a way to repair the car without investing a considerable amount on repair.

My citroen nemo multispace automatic has just started slipping into neutral after 20 miles or more. the display still says there’s a gear engaged. usually when it’s justed changed into second. I’ve tried doing a manual change up but it still disengages drive itself. car will drive normally when cold. any ideas please ?
