The Mazda 2 from 2003 – 2007 was installed with a Bosch TCU (Transmission Control Unit), also known as a TCM (Transmission Control Module). The same part has been found to be fitted to selected models of Ford, such as the Ford Fiesta.

Hello, I have a 2007 mazda 2 semi auto. Current presenting with intermittent gear issue. The red round sprocket light comes on every now and then and if in motion, it will not change gear and if parked, engine will not start because the neutral light will not come on the dash. If left for a while, it will reset itself and it will go again. Please advice on what help you can offer and price guide.

I have a Mazda Demio. The overdrive engages and light blinks when I move after starting the car first thing in the morning. It later runs fine after I switch off the engine and restart again. However the transmission is the same after the engine has cooled off for say 4 hours
