Description
SEAT Mii Instrument Cluster Repair (2011–2021)
A dash that refuses to come to life on a cold morning, then works perfectly once the car has warmed up, is a recognised fault on the SEAT Mii instrument cluster. The Mii’s cluster is small but central to the car: it shows road speed, fuel level and trip information, carries every warning lamp and exchanges data with the other control units. We repair the one from your Mii, keeping its original mileage and security data with it, so dealer recoding should not normally be needed.
Mii Dash Symptoms
- Cluster dead on cold starts, recovering as the cabin warms
- Lighting dark in one area of the dial while the rest works
- Speedometer needle erratic or not moving
- Trip readout blank or missing segments
- Warning lamps lit or flickering without a fault
Why Not Just Fit a Used Mii Cluster?
Some Mii owners who have swapped in a replacement cluster describe new warning lamps and fault codes appearing afterwards, which is one reason we repair the original instead. Bear in mind that a weak battery or a supply fault can also stop the dash waking; if those are ruled out, tell us the symptoms on the repair form and we will advise.
