Some Citroen models are fitted with the new Bosch 8.0 ABS / ESP pump module, which is the latest addition to the Bosch ABS / ESP pump technology. This unit is also fitted to a variety of other cars including: Peugot, Nissan and Audi and is already a common failing part.

When the Bosch 8.0 ABS pump becomes faulty, most garages will advise on getting a new replacement unit which can be expensive, and can only be purchased from a main dealer. The replacement unit will need to be programmed too at an additional cost. A second-hand used replacement unit costs less than a new replacement, however, the life expectancy will be less than the new replacement and will still require coding at an additional cost.

New ABS pumps from the dealers come with a limited 12 months warranty and second-hand used parts come with a 30-90 day warranty. Our remanufactured units come with a Lifetime warranty.
