Fiat Seicento Citymatic Clutch Actuator Repairs
The Fiat Seicento Citymatic is a small semi-automatic car (manual gear stick but no clutch pedal) and has a very common fault with the clutch actuator failing. When the clutch actuator fails, you will find the vehicle is hard to get into gears and on complete failure it will go into gear at all.
A failing clutch actuator can show signs of an intermittent fault. Hi I also have a Fiat 500 1.2 duologic that is jumping into neutral. Dealer says diagnostic test shows actuator needs to be replaced. Car has done only 14000 miles and is 5 years old. Please can you advise?

Hi I have a fiat 500 1.3 multi semi auto the car just stopped going into gear it showed it was in drive or reverse on dash but just revved engine no actual movement can you please quote a repair or service needed the aa put a meter on it showed no fault also independently company did a report and said it just needed a gearbox service etc he put meter on it showed no fault but it is driving atm

We do receive and repair a lot of Fiat 500 clutch actuators with similar faults to what you have described. You won’t always see a warning light or fault codes via diagnostic equipment but as the fault progresses, eventually it will trigger a warning light and codes to be stored in the transmission module.
