Generally, most workshops advise on getting a new replacement unit when the Bosch ABS pump module fails. New replacement units can only be purchased from a main dealer and can be costly. The price tag doesn’t include programming the unit, which is an additional cost. Although it may seem tempting to opt for a cheaper alternative – a second-hand used replacement unit – it generally only comes with a limited 30 – 90 day warranty.
