The most common failure we’ve seen with this type of gearbox is the front bearing failing and oil contamination on the clutch. This would cause clutch-slip and a slight noise on idle, which disappears when the clutch is depressed.

I got 206LX 2001 model. It is sometimes difficult to move it to 1st gear and reverse gear. the gear stick is wobbly too. is this something expensive to fix?

Hi my girlfriend has a peougeot 207 51 plate make a crunch noise when going into 2nd gear when driving with high ish revs when Parked or moving slower it works fine roughly how much would it cost to get it fixed
