Mazda 2 & 3 Teves MK70 (ATE) ABS Pump Repair Service

The Teves MK70 (ATE) ABS unit is fitted to the Mazda 2 & 3, and has been known to have similar design flaws as the earlier Teves MK60 ATE ABS pump which as many customers are aware of, turned out to be a complete disaster! Both units have internally built pressure sensors with a low maximum pressure rating and have identical common failures as you can see below:
