Volkswagen Passat 1.9TDi Blanking EGR Removal

Volkswagen Passat 1.9TDi EGR Removal / EGR Delete Session

Contact UsVolkswagen Passat 1.9TDi Blanking EGR RemovalVolkswagen Passat 1.9TDi EGR Removal / EGR Delete
The Volkswagen Passat EGR Valve can be very problematic because these cars suffer from Turbo failures. Once the turbocharger has failed, oil is passed through the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve and gunks up the valve flap causing a sticky EGR valve. As vehicles age, wear & tear will cause oil to weep through the oil seals of a turbocharger and not necessarily become a fault with the unit as such but can cause faults with the EGR unit as this oil builds up. When the EGR valve does get sticky, then it will eventually cause problems which can lead to mechanical failure of the EGR valve and other components.

Common VW Passat EGR Valve Problems

  • Loss Of Power
  • Smoke On Acceleration
  • Fluttering On Acceleration
  • Poor Fuel Economy
  • Hesitation & Missfire
  • EGR Flap Position Faults
  • EGR Related Fault Codes
  • Engine Management Light On
  • Limp Mode / Safe Mode

These are the most common faults we’ve come across on the VW Passat 1.9TDi with EGR problems, there are various fault codes that are related to EGR problems such as P0401, P0402 & P0403 etc. Replacing the EGR valve can be very costly and having it removed and cleaned every few months is not only expensive but time consuming – it will mean having your vehicle off road for half a day each time you have the EGR valve removed for cleaning. – Cleaning the EGR valve will not cure all EGR problems.

What we offer is a complete EGR Removal service and we don’t mean blanking the EGR off either. Most garages and motor enthusiasts suggest using Blanking plates to blank off the EGR valve. This will stop the turbocharger from passing oil up and stop the EGR from recirculating the gasses – as though it weren’t even fitted. The concept of this idea is perfect, however the reality is quite different.

Blanking the EGR valve will most definitely cause the Engine Management light to appear causing Emissions faults as well as others. Below we’ve list some of the most common symptoms you can expect from blanking your Volkswagen Passat EGR Valve:

  • Sluggish In Low RPM
  • Down In Power & Loss Of MPG
  • Poor Throttle Response
  • Limp Mode / Safe Mode
  • Engine Management Light On
  • Emissions Workshop Fault

What we offer is a very different approach to this on going EGR problem that motorists experience. We download and reprogram the Engine’s ECU to completely disable the EGR valve and delete all EGR related data strings. By doing so, we can tell the ECU to close the flap on the EGR valve as it is no longer required – making it no longer necessary to fit EGR Blanking Plates!

We will then program the ECU to disable all EGR values and fine-tune the engine to compensate for the vehicle no longer having an EGR valve fitted – this will result in both an increase in power & fuel economy and peace of mind that you will not experience any EGR related faults ever again. No engine management light, no Limp mode, no Emissions workshop faults and no smoking problems.

After we have successfully carried out the EGR Removal service on your Volkswagen Passat, you can expect the following benefits:

  • Increased Throttle Response
  • More Power & Better Performance
  • Gains Of +10-15mpg In Fuel Economy
  • No More EGR Related Faults
  • No Need To Replace Or Repair – Ever!

Our EGR Removal service will also safeguard the engine and heavily reduce carbon build-up in the engine. All our EGR Removal sessions are 100% completely reversible and come with a Lifetime warranty.

Peugeot 307 EGR Delete Service

Peugeot 307 2.0HDi EGR Removal / EGR Delete Session

Peugeot 307 EGR Delete ServicePeugeot 307 EGR Removal / EGR Delete
The Peugeot 307 2.0HDI EGR Removals have proven to be very successful. We offer a completely bespoke EGR Delete session for both the 90Bhp and the 110Bhp models. We’ve seen a lot of interest in this service and many people have tried this before but with not much success.

We’ve seen from online reviews and DIY’s that people have tried to just Blank-Off the EGR valve and at first, experience some excellent gains..

  • More Power & Performance
  • +10mpg gains
  • Better Throttle Response

But soon after, they begin experiencing problems with the EGR Valve being blanked off..

  • Sluggish in low rpm
  • Down on power & a loss in mpg
  • Poor Throttle Response

Why does blanking the Peugeot 307 HDI EGR Valve system cause these negative effects?

If the EGR valve is blanked off, then no exhaust gasses will recirculate back to the intake manifold and into the engine. – However, the engine ECU does not know that you have blanked off the EGR Valve, so when the Engine ECU calculates how much diesel to inject on each cycle, it will be doing so with the EGR flow included in it’s calculations.

In order to properly remove the EGR valve and stop it recirculating exhaust gasses without the negative effects as described above, you will need to have the engine ECU remapped accordingly to tell the ECU that the EGR valve is to remain shut at all times. The engine ECU will then re-calculate the injection cycle to compensate for the EGR valve being closed and thus you will experience true benefits of having the EGR valve removed.

Common Peugeot 307 EGR Valve Problems

  • Loss Of Power
  • Smoke On Acceleration
  • Fluttering On Acceleration
  • Poor Fuel Economy
  • Hesitation & Missfire
  • EGR Flap Position Faults
  • EGR Related Fault Codes
  • Engine Management Light On
  • Limp Mode

Benefits Of Peugeot 307 EGR Delete

  • Increased Throttle Response
  • More Power & Better Performance
  • Gains of +10-15mpg in Fuel Economy
  • No More EGR Related Faults
  • No Need To Replace Or Repair – Ever!

We manually de-activate all EGR valves and offer a completely bespoke service with no need to fit blanking plates in the engine bay, no need to block off pipe work or physically remove or modify any parts in the engine bay. This process is completely reversible and completely safe. If you’re experiencing sticky EGR valves, faulty EGR valves or just fed up with having to keep paying expensive repair bills every time your local garage has to take it off and clean it for you – then our EGR Delete service will definitely put a stop to this.

All of our EGR Delete services are completely custom with our very own in-house solution. We do not need to take the ECU out of the vehicle and starting de-soldering chips. Citroen C5 HDi EGR Delete / EGR Removal

Citroen C5 2.0 / 2.2 HDI EGR Removal / EGR Delete

Citroen C5 HDi EGR Delete / EGR RemovalCitroen C5 EGR Removal / EGR Delete
We now offer EGR Removal services for the Citroen C5 2.0HDI and 2.2HDI, both the 110bhp and 133bhp models. Our EGR removal service is not just blanking the EGR pipes whilst the on-board ECU continues to believe the EGR is doing it’s job and then deleting the error lights.. we offer a complete EGR De-Activation service.

We are able to switch off the EGR system, completely de-activating the EGR and by doing so – there is no need to fit blanking plates to the EGR pipes because the valve will always remain 100% closed. This EGR Delete is our very own in-house solution.

Common Citroen C5 EGR Valve Problems

  • Loss Of Power
  • Smoke On Acceleration
  • Fluttering On Acceleration
  • Missfire
  • EGR Flap Position Sensor Faults

Sometimes you can remove the EGR valve and clean it – this can cure some faults and the EGR will start to work again, however, you need to ask yourself why the EGR got so clogged up in the first place. Was there a lot of oil sludge on the EGR valve or just carbon build up? – If there was a lot of oil sludge, then chances are your turbocharger is leaking oil and so it will be an on-going problem.

Instead of continuously paying out to have the EGR valve cleaned or even expensive replacements, why not consider de-activating the EGR system completely.. there are a lot of added benefits in doing so.

Benefits Of Citroen C5 EGR Delete

  • More Power
  • Better Throttle Response
  • Increased Fuel Economy
  • No More EGR Faults
  • No Need To Replace Or Repair – Ever!

Our EGR Deletes are completely reversible and invisible, there are no mechanical bits to fit or remove. No need to fit custom EGR blanking plates, no need to remove the system and block pipes off. Everything will stay as it is, because it is all electronically controlled – we can switch off the complete EGR Valve system directly through the ECU with our very own in-house solution.

All of our EGR Delete solutions come with our lifetime software warranty and are completely reversible. For more information, please call us on 0203 815 9441 or email us today.
